 • Description:

Ichthyophthirius is a very large, ovoid ciliate. It is a parasitic protozoan in fish, causing the 'ick' diesease.

Well, I'm not 100% sure if this is really the Ichthyophthirius. It is supposed to have a horseshoe-shaped nucleus well visible in the brightfield, although I can't observe it in my photographs.
